ABOUT Daniel

I am a journalistically minded photographer influenced by the likes of Don McCullin, Martin Parr and Paul Strand. I enjoy photographing stories related to my passions, particularly documentary work surrounding politics. Along with my passion for politics, I am deeply influenced by music an influence which is shown by my commitment to photographing bands and artists. In my work I appreciate light and contrast, I like creating landscapes, street photos and weather shots, however, I am open to shooting all forms of photography. I am constantly engaging with new photographic work, contemporary and historic. A particular interest of mine is the Bauhaus School of Design in the 1930s. I am a great believer in the brutalist movement.

I am currently studying Ba Press and Editorial Photography at Falmouth University. During my A-level studies, I also studied Photography, and have been working on personal projects since 2017.
